AllShield CoreShield is a mineral-based protective coating that creates a rigid, non-combustible shell around EPS and other core materials. It is designed to shield vulnerable and combustible products from fire, strong acids, mechanical impact, and long-term environmental exposure.
This fast-curing system combines durability with speed, ensuring that even in demanding projects downtime is kept to a minimum. Applied by certified applicators using airless spray technology and reinforced with glass fleece, CoreShield cures into a seamless and watertight mineral layer.
By encapsulating materials such as EPS, CoreShield not only improves fire safety but also significantly extends the service life of products exposed to harsh conditions. The result is a robust, sustainable solution that is PFAS-free, VOC-free, and engineered for long-term performance.
CoreShield has already been used in infrastructure projects such as floating flood barriers, where mechanical strength, acid resistance, and fire safety must come together in one protective system.
CoreShield forms a hard, mineral-based layer that adheres directly to the surface of the product. Once cured and reinforced, it becomes a permanent shield that is:
Non-combustible and fire-resistant – prevents ignition and fire spread
Impact-resistant – withstands external mechanical stress and pressure
Acid-resistant – shields materials from strong acids and corrosive substances
Weather- and UV-proof – maintains performance under long-term exposure
Mineral-based and sustainable – PFAS-free, VOC-free, low CO₂ footprint
CoreShield is applied by certified applicators using airless spray technology and reinforced with EKL™ 800/450 glass fleece. It cures quickly into a rigid, high-strength layer, ensuring products are fully encapsulated and protected.
Testing and certifications are ongoing. CoreShield builds on the same mineral technology platform as AllShield Blue, and CreteShield, which are tested and certified under multiple international standards for fire safety and durability.
→ A1 Non combustable certification.
→ Caloric bomb test.
CoreShield is a two-component ceramic mineral system developed to create a hard and seamless protective shell around EPS and other core materials. Once applied and reinforced with glass fleece, it provides long-lasting resistance to fire, strong acids, mechanical impact, and environmental stress. The finish is seamless, waterproof, and UV-proof, ensuring reliable performance even under extreme conditions. Fully mineral-based, PFAS-free and VOC-free, CoreShield offers a sustainable solution that combines safety, durability, and environmental responsibility.

Protecting what matters. Fire safety is the goal. Insurability the result. Our projects with AllShield CoreShield show how that promise becomes reality across sectors, applications and environments.
AllShield develops mineral-based coatings and barriers for fire safety, acid resistance and structural durability — with no plastics, no PFAS and a low CO₂ footprint.
Yes. AllShield Blue and BarrierSheets are A1 certified.
Yes. Proven on over 80% of standard materials including steel, EPS, PIR, PUR, bitumen, PVC, TPO, EPDM (for BarrierSheet), wood and concrete.
Industrial, commercial and critical infrastructure buildings, especially those with flat roofs, PV systems, chemical zones or aging membranes.
Yes. AllShield products are VOC-free, REACH-compliant and developed to reduce the environmental impact of the built environment.
Yes. Both products were specifically tested under PV systems and block fire spread effectively - horizontally and vertically. Blue is FM 4484 Approved and BarrierSheet is FM 4478 Approved
Yes. AllShield Blue coating offers UV, mechanical and chemical resistance; BarrierSheet protects membranes and insulation as a cover board below a new roofing membrane.
Both products act as a fire barrier and are not waterproof and cannot be used as a waterproof subsistute for a roofing membrane.
Yes. AllShield Blue is applied directly over existing waterproof membranes. BarrierSheet is installed under new membranes during re-roofing or re-roofing for PV retrofits.
AllShield Blue is FM4482 approved and NEN 7250:2021 (under review) tested and widely accepted. For BarrierSheet, insurers increasingly recognize it as a fire safety solution, supported by field data and lab testing.
