Last week, the AllShield BarrierSheet was applied in a new project. Vakgarage Mitsubishi van Veldhuizen and JRK Kunststoffen chose this solution to combine proven fire safety with a durable new PVC roofing membrane.

Tanthof Tennis Club had a problem: an old bitumen roof that insurers wouldn’t cover with solar panels due to fire risk. The solution: AllShield Blue non-combustible coating. Now the 200 m² roof is fire-safe, insurable, and ready for solar – a win-win for safety and sustainability.

In September, AllShield Coatings completed the renovation of a 4,400 m² roof at Castelijn Meubelindustrie B.V. in Roelofarendsveen. This project extended the lifespan of the bitumen roof, improved energy efficiency, and prepared the building for safe, insurable solar panel installation.

At Yuverta Nijmegen, AllShield Blue was applied in collaboration with FourBees and Total Roof Care bv. This project demonstrates how flat roofs can be upgraded to be fire-safe, sustainable, insurable, and solar-ready.

At Campina Harlingen, a brand-new 7,000 m² flat roof was constructed with AllShield BarrierSheet and PIR insulation to meet strict fire safety and insurance requirements for future solar panel installation. By choosing this system instead of heavy stone wool, the building structure could be designed lighter, saving both weight and costs.
